Support · Signing in and your account

I signed up with Google or Apple

You may have no password at all — that's normal, and here's how to sign in.

If you created your account with Google or Apple, you probably never set a password. That's not a fault and nothing is missing — the account simply doesn't have one.

How to sign in

Use the same button you signed up with. Google accounts sign in with Google; Apple accounts sign in with Apple. Trying to sign in with an email and password won't work if you never set one.

Adding a password

You can add one from your account settings if you'd rather sign in that way. Once it's set, both routes work: the Google or Apple button, or your email and password.

"Hide My Email" with Apple

If you used Apple's private-relay option, your account is attached to a @privaterelay.appleid.com address rather than your usual one. That's the address to use if you ever need a password reset, and it's where our email will go.

Turning the relay off later in your Apple settings can stop mail reaching you. If you've done that and stopped receiving anything from us, that's the likely cause — get in touch and we can help sort it out.
