Deleting your account

What goes, what stays, and why some of it stays.

You can delete your account from your account settings. It's permanent — we can't undo it, so download a copy of your data first if you might want it.

What gets removed

Your profile and sign-in details, your saved churches and planned visits, your notification history, and support requests you filed while signed in.

What stays

Churches you added stay on the site. A church is a public place of worship, not personal information, and other people are relying on the listing. It stops being linked to you.

Aggregate figures a church's score is built from also stay, because removing one rating retroactively would silently rewrite scores other people have read.

If you're deleting because something went wrong

We'd genuinely rather hear about it. Tell us first — if it's fixable, we'd like the chance.
