What happens after you add a church

Where your submission goes, who looks at it, and how long it takes.

Adding a church isn't instant for most people, and that's deliberate — a directory nobody checks fills up with junk very quickly.

It goes to a person

Your submission joins a review queue. Someone reads it, checks the church looks real and isn't already listed under another name, and approves it. Once approved it appears on the site like any other church and can be found, rated, and reviewed.

If you've added churches before and they were all fine, your later submissions can go live straight away. That's earned automatically — there's nothing to apply for.

How long it takes

Usually a day or two. It can be longer over a weekend or a holiday.

You won't get a notification when it goes live, so the simplest thing is to search for the church again after a couple of days.

If it doesn't appear

A few things can hold a submission up:

If it's been more than a few days and you're sure it should be there, tell us — include the church name and the town and we'll look it up.
